HEARTWOOD DAYS REGISTRATION

September 11-13, 2026

Join us for a weekend filled with timber framing, craft, conversation, and community. Expect demonstrations and lectures, hands-on activities, tours, alumni presentations, shared meals and evening fires, and a few friendly competitions along the way.

Whether you’re an alum, instructor, frame owner, supporter, or simply curious about traditional building and the people who practice it, we’d love to have you join us.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Throughout the weekend you'll find opportunities to engage with our community and craft, including:

  • Timber framing demonstrations
  • Hands-on activities
  • Lectures and presentations
  • Timber Olympics
  • Campus tours and tours at local shops
  • Alumni slideshow and project showcase
  • Community meals
  • Evening campfires
  • Plenty of time to connect with fellow builders and craftspeople

Programming is still being finalized, and we'll send the complete schedule closer to the event.

This is a family-friendly event and children are welcome to participate. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire weekend and cannot be dropped off on their own. No pets, please.

SCHEDULE

Friday afternoon will offer tours of local shops and gathering around the fire pit in the evening for friendly conversation. A food truck will be available.

Saturday will be the main event, with demos, lectures, presentations, and the Timber Olympics. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

Breakfast will be provided on Sunday morning, and additonal tours of local shops will be available.

CAMPING AND MEALS

Camping is available on-site for pre-registered, full-weekend attendees only. The camping fee for the weekend is $20. Arrival begins at 4PM on Friday. Please bring your own tent and camping equipment. Basic facilities (porta potties and handwashing stations) will be available nearby. Showers and hook-ups will not be available.

Food will be provided on Saturday and Sunday. A food truck will be available to purchase from on Friday evening.
