ADRIAN ALMQUIST

Adrian Almquist began his building career education at Laney Community College in Oakland, California. Upon returning to his home state of Massachusetts, he began timber framing as a Heartwood apprentice in 2021. Since then he has worked as both an independent carpenter and timber framer, often under the mentorship of Neil Godden and Dave Bowman. The last major project he worked on was a four bent, white oak cruck pavilion, raised on a warm day in February. When not building, he enjoys making art, gardening, cooking, and riding his bicycle.
